The Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Dubai is offering special packages this summer on its room tariffs and conference facilities.
The hotel has announced a special rate of Dh295 ($80) this summer which includes access to facilities at the Metropolitan Resort and Beach Club.
Metropolitan Palace has 212 luxury suites and rooms themed in three unique styles: Arabic, Far Eastern and European. The Executive floor offers special privileges, enhanced room amenities and caters to the needs of the business traveller.
"Its summer conference package at Dh85 including lunch and two coffee breaks is ideal for businesses, provides extensive conference facilities, which include syndicate rooms, a well stocked library, latest communications systems and Internet access," said a spokesman.
"When it comes to fine food, the Metropolitan Palace Hotel is truly a haven for fine dining, with its four international restaurants: Tahiti - Polynesian, San Lorenzo - Italian, A1 Diwan - Lebanese and Al Shindagah - all day dining."
The Metropolitan Resort and Beach Club near the new Dubai Internet and Media City, features 103 rooms and suites with private terraces or balconies.
The resort, which has a regular 90 per cent occupancy, is also offering special summer deals at Dh275.
Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Hotels International which already has sales office in Kuwait and Jeddah to meet the growing demand in the Gulf, has set up a new sales office in Doha.
Rahim Abu Omar, chief executive officer of Metropolitan Hotels International and Ibrahim Al Assmakh, chairman of Regency Group of Doha signed an agreement to this effect at ATM 2001 recently.
