Following the announcement made by the Government of Jordan, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) Group has announced the relaunch of its international operations.
Accordingly, Fly Jordan, Jordan Aviation, Turkish Airlines and Fly Dubai have begun their operations to the Jordanian capital with QAIA, carrying passengers from Istanbul during the first two days, while two other flights were scheduled to arrive from Istanbul and Dubai on September 10.
In preparation, several preventive measures were introduced to protect passengers and employees alike from the Covid-19 pandemic - in line with stringent national and international health and safety standards and as approved by the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, said the statement from QAIA.
To ensure the resumption of international flights under optimal conditions, strict compliance with preventive measures - including physical distancing- are mandatory while on QAIA premises, it added.
