New Le Meridien opens in Luxor

The 302-room Le Meridien Luxor is now open in upper Egypt, adding to the group’s existing properties in Egypt in Cairo and Hurghada.

The hotel has an ideal location overlooking the Nile in the center of Luxor. It offers the right mix of modern comforts and facilities designed to meet every requirement of both leisure and business travelers.

Conference facilities at Le Meridien Luxor can cater for up to 1,000 delegates beside two small meeting rooms catering up to 140 delegates and a fully equipped business center covering the MICE sector’s needs.

The hotel has 283 rooms and 19 suites, all with a balcony or terrace and equipped with IDD phones with voice mail and radio, in-room safe and PC sockets.

As well as the all-day Nubia main restaurant for local and international buffet dishes, there is the Fresco grill on the riverbank, plus a classical Italian Pizza at Casa di Napoli and oriental favorites at El Tarboush Lebanese restaurant, the Nile cocktail terrace and a tea lounge.

Recreation facilities include outdoor heated pool, a health club and gym, sunset Nile cruising by traditional felucca, as well as golf at the nearby Luxor golf course.
