Cebu Pacific improves flexibility

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, has introduced a number of improvements in its policies to give all passengers – including those flying Dubai-Manila and Manila-Dubai routes – more flexible booking options and peace of mind.

Travel Fund: The Travel Fund will be valid for two years. This can be used to book flights up to 12 months ahead, for as long as the transaction is made before expiration. Potentially, this means that customers can use their Travel Funds and fly in 2023.

Unlimited rebooking: Customers can now avail of unlimited rebooking of their flights, without paying any rebooking or change fees. Those who wish to forego travel plans or book new flights can rebook their flights as many times as possible.

Options for cancelled flights: Passengers whose flights have been cancelled will continue to have the following options: unlimited rebooking of flights within three months from the original travel date at absolutely no cost, with fees or fare difference waived; availing of a full refund; or placing the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund, with a two-year validity.

Rome airports obtain Biosafety Trust Certification

The two Rome airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino, managed by ADR are the first airports in the world to obtain the Biosafety Trust certification. This certification is issued by the certification body RINA SERVICES, after a thorough investigation of the premises and relates to the correct application of the system for preventing infection from biological agents.

This recognition puts these airports at the forefront in the procedures for containing the spread of the virus.

"We are very satisfied with this result", said the CEO of ADR, Marco Troncone, "because it once again demonstrates the levels of excellence reached by Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, even in an essential sector such Health and Safety. It is – he added – a certification that recognises the company's effort, which, during the crisis, in addition to the protocols required by the Government, has adopted further measures to guarantee the utmost breadth and depth of the prevention interventions and to enable the capital's airports to continue to operate in conditions of utmost safety".
