In an effort to jump start the post-summer season business in the wake of recent global events, The Residence Mauritius has increased its marketing efforts throughout the Middle East.
“The industry has been hit hard by the current climate and we have borne a downturn in reservations because of it. The Middle East market is a crucial one for us and we want to encourage travellers to start moving again and to visit our island,” said Frederic Chretien, general manager of The Residence Mauritius. “With Emirates offering non-stop flights four times a week, Mauritius is the ideal holiday destination for the Middle East traveller. To this end, we have pledged our marketing funds in this direction, with representation by our local marketing representative office Fusion Marketing Management and by offering packages specifically aimed at the Gulf traveller,” he added.
TTN is the most established trade publication in the Middle East distributed on a controlled circulation basis to members of the travel and tourism industry.
