The Hyatt Regency Dubai, the original Hyatt property in Dubai, has outperformed more than 80 other Hyatt International properties in 39 countries to be named the runner-up in the Hyatt International Hotel of the Year Award.
The Hotel of the Year Award recognises Hyatt hotels for their ability to work effectively as a team in the areas of customer focus, people management and financial performance.
The Hyatt Regency Dubai received the first runner-up position, closely following the overall winner, the Grand Hyatt Shanghai.
“It is fantastic to be named the first runner-up in the Hyatt International Hotel of the Year Award, as it is a recognition of the team effort that makes the Hyatt Regency Dubai the successful property it is today.
“We could not have achieved such a high score without all of our 600 staff working together on a daily basis as we do so well,” said Gordon Campbell, general manager of the Hyatt Regency Dubai.
