Uflyonline, claimed to be the first online travel agency in the Middle East, has negotiated an exclusive agreement with Awalnet.
The move will allow Uflyonline to better display online travel products to the emerging e-commerce market in Saudi Arabia.
Awalnet, covering more than 60 per cent of the Saudi market, is the largest ISP in Saudi Arabia.
Though internet is still limited in Saudi Arabia, per user time on the net is substantially high, leading to rapidly developing e-commerce. This has led to huge potential for e-commerce in the Middle East.
The Saudi Arabian market being a recent one, this cooperation will allow Awalnet and Uflyonline to educate their users in buying travel products over the internet.
This is also a great opportunity for airline companies and travel suppliers to have their products displayed online and become available to the Saudi net users.
