Kanoo Travel has opened a regional call centre in Manama.
The project has been designed as a central help desk for the company’s existing and new customers in retail, corporate and leisure segments across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE.
YBA Kanoo deputy group chairman Mubarak Kanoo opened the centre, in the presence of leading members of the Kanoo family and travel trade officials.
Kanoo said the centre would perform varied travel related services like airline, hotel and car bookings, which would all be customised to the different regions people are calling from.
“Customers can make arrangements on the phone and later collect their documents from the nearest Kanoo Travel office,” he said.
Kanoo Travel would launch an interactive website, where customers log in and make their own bookings and check all the details, said executive general manager Abdulla Abo Khamseen.
