Palladium Hotel Group continues its expansion plans with the announcement of three new hotels for 2020. Representing an investment of more than €57 million ($63.36  million), the Spanish hotel group is opening new properties in Spain and Italy next year under two of its most important brands: Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts and Palladium Hotels.

Palladium Hotel Group is set to launch the three all-inclusive hotels next summer. Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Garden Beach Resort & Spa are located on the Italian island of Sicily, and Palladium Hotel Menorca is situated on the Balearic Island of Menorca.

The announcement follows the opening of Palladium Hotel Costa del Sol, BLESS Hotel Ibiza and BLESS Hotel Madrid, all of which launched across 2019. These openings show Palladium Hotel Group’s efforts to expand its brand portfolio in new destinations while also continuing to offer guests the ultimate all-inclusive experience.

Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts arrives in Italy with two new hotels inspired by Bella Vita.

Located on the beachfront of the traditional town, Campofelice di Roccella and close to Palermo and its airport, this ten-hectare resort will consist of two hotels: Grand Palladium Garden Beach Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa, adding 469 rooms and suites to Sicily’s northern coast. The resort’s location allows guests to discover not only the traditional Italian elements of Sicily but also the buzz of the capital city, Palermo.

Palladium Hotel Group has partnered with investment and asset management firm Azora in a joint venture to invest in the European holiday hotel sector. As part of this strategic partnership, a 31 million euros investment is funding the renovation and development of this new Sicilian resort.

The two new hotels are designed for all types of travellers, including couples, families and groups. Both hotels feature all the facilities and services of the Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts brand including the Infinite Indulgence programme which offers a premium and unlimited all-inclusive package. Alongside this, guests can also take full advantage of the Dine Around programme in which visitors will be able to taste the dishes of the three à la carte restaurants, taking influence from cuisines across the world, and six bars that make up the resort.

The resort also includes four swimming pools, a Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness, kids’ clubs (Baby Club, Mini Club and Junior Club), a full programme of activities and live shows as well as multi-purpose indoor and outdoor meeting spaces – perfect for conferences, gala dinners and business events.

Inspired by the true essence of Menorca and the Mediterranean Sea, Palladium Hotel Menorca will open in summer 2020 following a €26 million investment. It will be the second property under the Palladium Hotels brand to open outside of Ibiza, following the opening Palladium Hotel Costa del Sol in July this year.

Palladium Hotel Menorca sits above Arenal d’en Castell bay on the Balearic Island’s north-eastern coast and overlooks the dramatic cliffs, lush pine forests and sandy beaches that make up the Menorcan landscape. With Menorca’s capital, Mahon, located just 20 minutes away, as well as small fishing villages and the Ciutadella old town close by, guests can enjoy the relaxed ambience of Menorca whilst taking in its rich cultural heritage.

The four-star hotel offers 264 rooms ranging from deluxe rooms (sea views options available) to sea view suites. All rooms are furnished with the latest technology and to the luxury modern standard of all Palladium Hotels.

During their stay, guests can relax by the two pools (one designed specifically for children), experience Zensations by Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness, or enjoy live music and evening entertainment as well as a selection of sports and activities suitable for the entire family.

The gastronomic options within the hotel draws inspiration from cuisines from around the world, including traditional dishes from Menorca and the Balearics. Its two restaurants comprise an international restaurant with show cooking and an à la carte restaurant, joining three bars located around the hotel.

Palladium Hotel Group’s new properties in Sicily and Menorca reflect the group’s ongoing growth strategy based on large investments, strategic alliances and the repositioning of its hotels and brands.

Palladium Hotel Group, CEO, Abel Matutes Prats, says, “With these new properties, we continue to reinforce our strategy of expanding the group and our brands around the world. These openings represent a very important investment for the company with which we seek to continue growing and improving our products and services, but they also reflect Palladium Hotel Group’s commitment to continue promoting sustainable tourism and position us as a benchmark for quality accommodation in the Mediterranean.”

As a result of this expansion strategy, the Palladium Hotel Group now has 50 properties with more than 14,000 rooms in six countries around the world.
