UAE firm New Technology Systems (NTS) has announced the launch of a new hospitality industry software solution entitled "HostNet" that is priced at $70,000 and up.
The multi-module package, based on the Oracle platform, is aimed at five-star hotels.
HostNet integrates the front office, back office, point-of-sale, laundry and banqueting operations of a hotel, an NTS spokesman said.
Since it is Internet-enabled, it can be installed for an entire chain regardless of the number of locations.
NTS is a subsidiary of Intertec Systems, headquartered in Dubai and with offices in India.
Besides the Middle East, the company is looking to sell the package on the subcontinent and in the US.
The package was recently installed at the three properties of NTS' launch customer, Sharjah National Hotels.
The software firm, which expects turnover to total $100 million in the next five years, earlier won contracts with Abu Dhabi airport for its airport services management solutions.
