Oman Air has signed an agreement in Bombay to facilitate the issue of visas on arrival for tourists from India.

The deal will strengthen Oman-India tourist ties and result in the increase of tourists travelling by Oman Air flights, said an official in Muscat.
The move is part of Oman Air efforts to provide the best services and facilities to attract more tourist groups to visit Oman and enjoy its tourist attractions, said Oman’s tourism under-secretary Mohsen bin Khamis Al Baluchi.
The conference is a result of the fruitful tourist co-operation between Oman and India through the tourist promotional agents especially representatives of Indian tourist and travel companies (Tati), said officials.
Oman Air is working closely with the concerned government authorities, notably the Directorate-General of Tourism at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The airline is carrying out a campaign to highlight the advantages granted to Oman Air passengers opting to use holiday packages offered by the company, specially the one related to obtaining entry visas upon arrival at any of the Omani Airports.
This co-operation will strengthen Oman-India tourist ties and result in the increase of tourists travelling by Oman Air flights.
