MILLENNIUM HOTELS and Resorts, Middle East and Africa (MEA), one of the fastest growing hotel management companies in the region, will unveil its new hotel development pipeline, in addition to the 14 hotels due to open in 2019 – at the Arabian Travel Market.
By the end of 2019, Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA will operate more than 50 hotels, up from 26 in 2016 – making it the fastest growing hotel operator in the region.
The company has already announced 14 new hotels to be added to its existing portfolio of 40 hotels in the Middle East and Africa region. The new hotels will help grow tourism demand in the GCC including UAE –who will be hosting the World Expo 2020 and is expected to receive 25 million visitors in six months.
“Our fast-developing hotel portfolio is geared to support the vision of the UAE government. This year, we will add 14 hotels, as part of the 35 new hotels that are in the pipeline,” Kevork Deldelian, chief operating officer of Millennium Hotels and Resorts Middle East and Africa, says.
“In order to bring variety to the market and to offer customized hospitality offerings, we have introduced two contemporary products – Studio M and Millennium Place – to suit the varied budgets of our valued customers,” he added.
Studio M is a three-star, lifestyle hotel concept, offering smart, savvy travellers, designer chic and contemporary functionality as well as a personal sanctuary of urban living for those that understand the work-life balance. It is not so much a hotel, but more a modern refuge, a ‘home’ away from home.
On the other hand, Millennium Place will be known as the happier hotel brand in the Middle East that will consistently deliver a smile to its guests through different touch points in the guest’s journey.
Manuel Garcia, general manager of the 453-key Millennium Place Marina, which will open this month in the Dubai Marina neighbourhood, tells TTN, “Millennium Place Marina will be home to the world’s first “MasterChef the TV Experience” restaurant, featuring recipes and dishes of contestants and champions from various global shows of the reality TV show. The kitchen will be headed by Venezuelan-born chef Margarita Vaamonde-Beggs.”
