Studio M Arabian Plaza Hotel & Hotel Apartments has appointed a group of hospitality veterans. The new appointments include Girish Menon, director of finance; Sahil Thakur, director of sales and marketing; Sravan Goud Jana, revenue manager; Ahmed Atef Shamardan, heading front office; and Mohamed Abbas, executive sous chef. Menon is responsible for implementing financial strategies. Thakur is responsible for leading the sales and marketing team. Jana is tasked with maximising the hotel’s revenue, market share and profits. Shamardan will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel. Abbas will supervise the operations of dining outlets.
