RJ backs Aqaba Winter Carnival with special sales promo
In a bid to encourage travel to Aqaba for the Winter Carnival, national carrier Royal Jordanian (RJ) is offering an attractive fare of JD57 ($80.3) to the coastal city from Amman.
Tickets are available for sale from January 10 to February 28 for travel between January 13 and February 28 for a maximum stay of seven days.
The RJ sales promo is expected to boost visitor numbers to the 'Aqaba Carnival for Tourism and Shopping Sales Season 3”, launched by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).
This winter promotional campaign seeks to increase the number of visitors by encouraging tourists, both local and international, to make Aqaba city their getaway during winter and enjoy the warm weather in this Red Sea resort.
The Aqaba Carnival offers special discounts of up to 50 per cent on hotel accommodation, restaurants, handicrafts, shoes and garments, electronics, water sports and diving centres. Jordanian singers and folklore troupes will perform during the carnival nights, and there will be different activities for children. - TradeArabia News Service
