Thomas, Marriott International hotels around the world are offering cool rates packages just in time for summer.
In Asia and the Pacific, participating Marriott, Renaissance, Courtyard by Marriott, New World and Ramada hotels in 14 countries are offering special rates including breakfast.
These packages are available now through September 15. Advance reservations are required as rates are subject to availability. Complimentary breakfast is applicable for single and double occupancy.
"With the temperatures in the Middle East rising, Marriott hotels in this region have summer packages to make the heat more manageable," a group spokesman said.
"For instance visitors to Dubai can stay in a standard deluxe room at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai for Dh375 ($102) plus taxes. The special rates are available from now through the end of August."
In the Caribbean, Bahamas and resort areas of Mexico, Marriott and Renaissance Hotels have introduced the "Sand Dollars Bonus" package.
This four-night minimum package offers affordable rates on ocean view accommodations and a value-added resort credit. The package is available now through October 31.
Resort credits of $200 in Aruba, St. Thomas, Nassau and Jamaica and $100 in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Curacao are offered which can be used at select restaurants and other food and beverage outlets. The credits are issued on a one-per-stay basis.
Select Marriott, Renaissance Courtyard and Ramada hotels in Germany are offering summer specials now until August. For example, the Munich Airport Marriott is offering breakfast, parking and a shuttle to the airport for 101.75 euro (about $85).
The Courtyard by Marriott Bottrop is offering Warnerpackages with tickets for Warner Brothers' Movie World and breakfast until October for 71.50 euro.
The Marriott and Renaissance Resorts in Hawaii are inviting guests to visit this summer with Paradise Plus packages. Each package includes breakfast for two or a car rental.
Rates begin at $149 a night for the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort. Rates begin at $129 without breakfast or car rental.
Tavellers to London can experience the history and pageantry of this vibrant city at special prices when they stay at Marriott and Renaissance hotels. In addition to great room rates, the hotels are also offering breakfast and, in cases, dinner included in the price.
Rates are available during weekends and must include a Saturday night stay through August 31.
The London Marriott Grosvenor Square has rates available until September 17. All reservations must be made in advance by July 31, 2001.
