Airline to promote Perth as summer destination

If you have ever wanted to go Down Under but thought the fares were rather steep, think again.

Emirates' latest summer offer is aimed at passengers planning to travel to the increasingly popular continent of Australia.

Travellers flying on Emirates to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane via Perth will receive free stays on a bed-'n'-breakfast basis in the five-star Parmelia Hilton Perth Hotel.

The hotel overlooks the Swan River and is located just minutes from King's Park and offers friendly service and inner city luxury.

Offering economy class passengers one night, business class two nights and first class travellers three nights free, the Emirates deal is on a per-adult-per-night basis, which means that a couple travelling in economy class can actually avail of two nights free stay.

Sweetening the deal is the fact that Emirates flies daily, non-stop to Perth.

This offers an alternative to Asian stopovers saving valuable time for Australia-bound passengers and promising more hassle-free travel.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, director of commercial operations at Emirates, said: "Australia is set to become a trendy destination this summer among both expatriate and emirati communities and we want to support our passengers with offers that add genuine value and comfort."

The offer is valid until August 15 this year on tickets purchased in the UAE.

Skywards members have the opportunity of accumulating miles on their travels to Australia.

Passengers enamoured with Perth and wishing to lengthen their visit can stay on for additional nights charged at special rates for Emirates' passengers.

Emirates flies daily to Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.

The airline will commence non-stop flights to Sydney later this year, when the first of four Airbus A340-500s enter its fleet.

The DTCM has recently launched 'Reflection of Dubai'.

The second edition of the glossy book is a collage of modern and ancient photographs of Dubai.
