British Airways (BA) has appointed a new country commercial manager for the UAE, Oman and Yemen.
Judith Limburn has been with the British national flag carrier since 1995 and takes up her post at the BA's regional head office in Dubai, UAE, this month.
Limburn, a graduate of Cambridge University, began her career with British Airways on a fast track general manager programme. During the four-year programme, Limburn had the opportunity to gain experience in a number of diverse roles including setting up and launching Travel Shops in the UK, distribution management in Italy and customer service in London.
Most recently, Limburn worked with the seven other member carriers of the oneworld alliance to promote oneworld sales. Prior to that she held commercial responsibility across the Mediterranean.
Commenting on her new appointment, Limburn said: "This is a new and exciting challenge for me and another important step forward in my career. I am excited about my new responsibility for such a unique market. I have a highly professional team and look forward to working with them to develop long-term relationships with our trade and business partners, and across the community."
