Hiton International has appointed Shelley Winkel and Jinou Park to its Singapore-based Middle East Asia Pacific (MEAP) Business Development team, effective May 19.
Announcing the move, president of Middle East Asia Pacific, Koos Klein said the two new members will bring a wealth of experience in tourism to the MEAP team.
Shelley Winkel joins Hilton International as area director PR and communications, a new position responsible for increasing the profile of Hilton hotels among its key stakeholders and target audiences. She comes with seven years experience in the tourism industry, most recently working for the Australian Tourist Commission as PR Manager for South and South East Asia. Shelley has a history of working in cross-cultural environments and has lived in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Osaka.
Jinou Park has joined the Hilton team as area director revenue management and distribution for MEAP. He is responsible for driving total revenue through the further development of Hilton's already advanced revenue management practices by focusing on all distribution channels.
