The iconic Grand Hotel Tremezzo, situated on the azure waters of Lake Como, has reopened in March 2018. Guests staying at the historic Baroque-style property can welcome the warm spring air, while soaking in picturesque views of the sunny shores and the Riviera of the Azaleas in full bloom.
With the reopening, Grand Hotel Tremezzo has appointed Silvio Vettorello as the General Manager. Vettorello has over 14 years of experience in five-star hospitality, especially in establishments where luxury moves beyond elegance and quality service to enveloping guests with a feeling of warmth, family and belonging. Vettorello has been with the property for five years.
The new season will also see Villa Sola Cabiati open its doors for guests looking for a royal experience. Considered as one of the most beautiful villas flanking Lake Como, this magnificent residence is a hallmark of Italian art, passed through the hands of one of noblest families in Lombardy for generations.
The belle-époque villa is available on an exclusive basis, complete with daily à la carte breakfast, 24-hour butler service, a dedicated chambermaid and housekeeper, a heated outdoor swimming pool, high speed WiFi, and laundry (excluding dry cleaning), as well as a private dock for boats, and a chef is at the villa’s disposal to prepare lunch, dinner and snacks from the villa’s menus. Villa Sola Cabiati can accommodate up to 12 people, making it ideal for large family groups.
Villa Sola Cabiati being located a short distance from Grand Hotel Tremezzo, two daily transfers to and from the property are provided complimentary. Guests can use the hotel’s facilities such as the gym and spa, throughout their stay.
Part of the opening package, Grand Hotel Tremezzo is offering a stay in any of the hotel’s luxuriously appointed rooms or suites, with a hearty buffet breakfast served on La Terrazza as the sun rises over the Bellagio.

The package includes a three-night’s stay, bubbly and strawberries upon arrival along with daily breakfast served either in the suite or gourmet restaurant as per the guest’s preference.
