German airline Lufthansa, has introduced daily flights to and from Abu Dhabi as well as reintroducing the Boeing 747 to the market.
Lufthansa will be increasing capacity on their flights to and from the UAE by introducing daily flights from Abu Dhabi as well as its various UAE routes.
Uwe Wriedt, general manager Passenger Sales UAE and director Gulf, Iran and Pakistan commented, "Realising the increase in demand to and from the UAE, we are pleased to announce that the UAE will now be served by daily flights to and from Abu Dhabi and that we will be reintroducing the high capacity 747 on routes to and from this market."
He added, "This is a decision that not only improves the level of service to and from our capital and the UAE as a whole, but also reiterates Lufthansa's commitment to this market."
This increase in capacity comes as a part of Lufthansa's strategy in the Middle East region, which it has been serving for over 40 years, where the number one European airline serves 12 destinations.
"Serving the UAE for over 25 years Lufthansa has built up a strong position as one of the leading international and European airlines flying to and from this market.
