Alpha Destination Management has established itself as one of the most credible and reputed brands. Its primary focus is inbound destination management into the UAE and Oman, and it commands a significant market share of the lucrative tourism sector in the GCC.
“We at Alpha Destination Management take immense pride in being one of the first to support Arabian Travel Market and look forward to a very significant presence as this will be the 20th year of our participation in the trade fair,” Samir Hamadeh, general manager for Alpha Destination Management, tells TTN. “At this year’s event, we intend to make important announcements regarding the signing of some key contracts from the UK and German markets. We are also launching our new enhanced online B2B platform as well as highlighting few new initiatives related to helicopter services and launching of new locations within Dubai and other emirates. Our focus this year is also to implement expansion plans of Alpha Destination Management into other destinations.
“Our biggest market share constitutes of UK, Russia, GCC and Germany; and we are also aggressively exploring new markets such the Korean and the Indian markets. Two new outlets are in the pipeline to open up this year – in Mumbai and Chennai. We have also recently opened a new office in Nigeria as it is one of the most promising markets for us. This has been a very positive move and we expect the business to flourish and generate better revenues as we plan to introduce some very good packages to boost our business in the market.
“The cruise industry is a huge focus for us at Alpha Destination Management. The new cruise terminal and the planned cruise harbour in the Jumeirah area will give this segment a major boost. This offering also sees a lot of traction keeping in mind Dubai’s excellent location. As Cruise Arabia, the only thing we need to work on is enhancing the product offering and avoiding repetitions in what port cities are offering. The business has witnessed a very good increase this year and in the next three years we see a high potential and expect a lot of positive growth,” says Hamadeh.
