Crowne Plaza completes renovation in time for F1

Crowne Plaza Bahrain, one of the well-known business hotels in the Kingdom, has completed its room renovation project, wrapping up enhancements to 140 guestrooms and adding a new club lounge.

Perfectly Timed for The Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, the official launch of the newly renovated rooms of the North wing of Crowne Plaza Bahrain took place on March 18.

Shaikh Khalid Bin Humood Alkhalifa, CEO of Bahrain Authority for Tourism and Exhibitions, graced the occasion as the guest of honour and was accompanied by Farouk Yousuf Almoayyed, chairman of the board, Garfield Jones, chief executive officer of Gulf Hotels Group, Abdulla Al Awadhi, general manager of the Bahrain Tourism Company, Jan Ific, general manager, InterContinental Regency and Gilles Nicolas, general manager, Crowne Plaza Bahrain.

The new guestrooms and suites boast a spacious layout. A sleek, new design complete with interactive 43-inch smart televisions, brand-new beds and airy window sheers, give the rooms a whole new look and feel that compliments the hotel’s prime location. In addition to these improvements, the hotel has now included deluxe rooms that can cater to families and small groups.

All guestrooms are equipped with complimentary in-room wi-fi access for more than one device, smart TV and a media hub to stay connected.
