The Al Bustan Palace Inter-Continental Muscat in Oman has been named the 'Middle East's Leading Hotel' for the second consecutive year in an international travel awards survey.
The hotel won the honour in a travel agents' Internet poll conducted by the World Travel Awards to acknowledge and celebrate great achievements in all areas of the world's travel and tourism industry, a spokesman said.
Over 25,000 travel agencies from 182 countries registered their votes online on the World Travel Awards website, which was established in 1993.
Trophies were awarded to world and regional categories, as well as specific travel industry areas and markets.
Al Bustan Palace is one of 111 properties under management by Bass Hotels and Resorts.
