Emirates the national carrier of the UAE has announced its support towards Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) with the announcement of its special packages and fares to and through Dubai this summer. Emirates Airline has released the offer, named Emirates DSS 2003 to all passengers travelling on Emirates Airline in this sector, and this offer can be combined with all fares and is not restricted to any specific class of travel.
This package includes accommodation in selected hotels in Dubai. The range is vast and visitors have around 16 properties to choose from, including four beach properties, and the package costs begin at $23. This charge is for a single person per person per night and there are many more packages to choose from.
Hamad Obeidalla, Emirates' general manager GCC, Yemen and Iran said, "We see Dubai Summer Surprises as another opportunity to promote the city of Dubai and this year, we expect a 10-15 per cent increase in sales. We have consistently promoted events such as Dubai Summer Surprises network-wide on the airline's website, with point of sale promotional material and advertising campaigns. Moreover, all our aircraft in predetermined sectors are carrying the logo of Dubai Summer Surprises for the period June - August.
"Of course to accommodate all the extra people, we have provided for extra flights from Kuwait, Doha, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Beirut."
Vast as the choice may be, a common theme connects all the packages and Emirates Airline has tied up with various service providers in Dubai to showcase the best of Dubai to visitors. Apart from the 16 hotels, Arabian Adventures will take care of 'meet and assist' at the Dubai Airport.
A uniformed representative will meet the guest at the airport and a chauffeur-driven car will transport the guest from airport to hotel. Hotels will provide complimentary transportation to and from DSS venues and will thrown in benefits like complimentary breakfast.
The hotels that Emirates Airline has tied up with are Seashell Inn, Pearl Residence, Marco Polo, Metropolitan Deira, The Fairmont Dubai, Le Meridien Dubai, Taj Palace Hotel, Hyatt Regency, Crowne Plaza, Emirates Towers, Grand Hyatt, Hilton Dubai Creek, Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, The Ritz-Carlton, The Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers, Dubai.
