He was given a comprehensive tour of the complex, including the new Dubai International Convention Centre.
Ruppert was thoroughly impressed with the facility and stated, "This is one of the most impressive exhibition and convention centres we have visited in recent years.
"The diverse options it offers on site from exhibition space and venue management capabilities to catering and banqueting as well as accommodation within the complex should make it a meeting planner's delight."
The publisher was accompanied on the site tour by Christina Feyereke, international sales director of Events magazine and they were given a wide-ranging briefing about the venue by DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin Fahad.
