Hertz Kuwait has appointed Andy Pratley to the position of general manager. Pratley brings 23 years of area experience in operational management and general sales to Transworld Company, the Hertz franchisee in Kuwait.
Pratley's career started off in 1980, when he took up a position as a fleet manager for Royal Mail in the UK. He then spent 14 years building up his expertise by working for major UK-based and international car rental companies before joining Hertz. Pratley sees his first position with Hertz as a challenging one, overseeing the company's current operations in Kuwait and developing new ones, setting up a corporate vehicle lease programme and developing a Hertz chauffeur service to be provided to guests at Kuwait's five-star hotels.
