Rezidor to add 3,000 rooms to its operating portfolio in 2017

Radisson Hotel Group showcased a powerful pipeline of 17 hotel openings, including 11 hotels in Saudi Arabia and five hotels in UAE for this year alone.

The 17 hotel openings this year will add more than 3,000 rooms to its operating portfolio totalling almost 12,000 rooms in the Middle East and ensuring the group remains firmly on track to have 100 hotels and 20,000 rooms in operation by 2020 across the region.

Radisson Blu Resort, Al Khobar Half Moon Bay, will open in Saudi Arabia with 137 rooms, suites and chalets, and is set on the western shore of Half Moon Bay, a 50-kilometre drive from Al Khobar. Also in Saudi Arabia, Radisson Blu Hotel, Buraidah, is five kilometres from the city centre, and features 119 rooms. Located in the Jeddah’s Al Salamah district in Saudi Arabia’s second largest city, Radisson Blu Hotel Jeddah Al Salam will feature 142 rooms and suites. Park Inn by Radisson, Makkah Al Naseem is the brand’s first hotel opening in the Holy City of Makkah. It will feature 459 modern rooms and suites. All four hotels are scheduled to open in the second quarter this year.

Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront, Park Inn by Radisson Dubai Motor City, Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Apartments Dammam Industrial City, Park Inn by Radisson Jeddah Madinah Road, Park Inn by Radisson Najran, and Radisson Blu Hotel, Ajman, will all open in the third quarter of this year.

Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter, Nofa Resort in Riyadh, Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Nasr City, Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence, Jeddah Corniche, and Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Aziziyah, will all open before the year ends.
