Earlier this year, Jumeira Rotana announced the completion of its major renovation with interiors reflecting its transformation into a modern yet tranquil spot in the buzzing centre of Al Satwa in Dubai.

With the completion of the renovation, Jumeira Rotana is expected to show an increase of 30 per cent occupancy year-on-year. Additionally, it is planning to counter the city-wide decline of hotel average rates with the vast improvement of its hotel product.

David Prince, area vice-president of Rotana in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, says, “We are delighted to relaunch Jumeira Rotana, especially as it is one of Rotana’s long established properties in Dubai. The completed works will strengthen our ties with our partners, bookers and regular guests. The hotel is well known for its outlet – Boston Bar – that has received several prestigious awards and continues to be very popular with locals and tourists alike.”

“Jumeira Rotana is one of the longest standing brand representatives of Rotana hotels, with its distinctive design, accessibility and most especially, the size of the bedrooms. Over the past year, the hotel’s team has further enhanced our relationships with our partners and the community during the renovation period,” Prince adds.

The four-star Rotana property has 125 contemporary and spacious rooms, including the Burj Suite that occupies 113 sq m, and offers panoramic views over the Sheikh Zayed Road skyline and Burj Khalifa. The hotel’s facilities include a gym, a rooftop swimming pool and a newly developed wellness and spa area, which is managed by Softouch SPA. Two food and beverage outlets, the brand new Olive Oil – the hotel’s all-day dining outlet, as well as the renowned Boston Bar, add to the guest experience and complement the treasured moments of any guest’s stay.

General Manager, Ulrich Hoffmeister, says, “The renovation, which was done just in time for Jumeira Rotana’s 20th anniversary year, sees a complete revitalisation of the entire hotel. The new look and feel of hotel rooms, facilities as well as the hotel lobby with public spaces, provide an all-new experience for both, business and leisure travellers.”

“The new design paired with the addition of 11 rooms to the inventory, is expected to support the repositioning as well as the market presence of the hotel in Dubai,” Ulrich adds.
