Madinat Jumeirah has unveiled a new cutting-edge virtual online planning tool that has revolutionised event and conference planning at the Arabian resort of Dubai.
The user-friendly booking tool covers all venues at Madinat Jumeirah and takes event planners through five simple stages – venue selection, venue multimedia, layout selection, layout customisation and submission of requests.
Each piece of furniture has been photographed in order to provide an accurate representation of the event spaces. This latest technological development demonstrates Jumeirah’s commitment to providing the highest quality, seamless booking experience for event planners. This virtual planner is also available as an app which can be used on tablets and mobile devices. It is yet another example of Jumeirah pushing the boundaries of innovation in hospitality, following on from the expansion of Fort Island, Madinat Jumeirah, and the completion of the Terrace at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.
Fort Island is the largest hotel event space in the UAE and was completed in October 2015. Set over 1,750 square meters, the space has tripled in size and is ideal for hosting banquets, parties, exhibitions, product launches, music concerts, weddings, sports events and festivals for up to 1,400 people.
The space has hosted several international events including Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), the World Economic Forum, the Museum of the Future and Art Dubai.
Connected to the resort by four bridges, guests can also access Fort Island by the traditional wooden abra boats when staying in one of Madinat Jumeirah’s three hotels. Its privileged location, steps away from the bustling Souk Madinat, the 600-seater outdoor amphitheatre, Madinat Theatre and the nearest hotel, Jumeirah Mina A’Salam makes Fort Island one-of-a-kind venue for spectacular events in what is emerging as one of the most popular global destinations for the Mice industry.
