Metropolitan Hotels International has announced the extension of its existing property in Beirut. The existing luxurious hotel comprises 163 rooms, 19 suites and a four-bedroom Penthouse.
A hotel official said that the new project - the Met City Centre - is being built featuring luxurious accommodation, restaurants, a shopping mall and would be the tallest building in Lebanon and have the biggest banquet room of 2,500 sq m. The new Met City Centre will be linked by a bridge to the existing Metropolitan Palace Hotel.
The hotel has also launched various promotional offers valid until June 30. Room rates start from $110 for a single room and $125 for a double room including breakfast, subject to 10 per cent VAT.
The group is also offering extra points to existing loyalty card members. "We are offering to double their points which they will earn in case they book their holiday to Beirut before June 15," said an official.
