Hotel Show 2003 is slated for May 19-21 at the Airport Expo, Dubai. The Hotel Show is for a second year being staged in conjunction with The Office Exhibition. The two events run simultaneously in adjacent exhibition halls.

The two shows are organised by dmg World Media, a subsidiary of FTSE100 company, The Daily Mail and General Trust.

Exhibitors to the show have two options. Shell Scheme stands cost $390 (Dh1,432.60) per square metre and include white walls, nameplate, carpet tiles, spotlights, electrical power point (13 amp) and power supply. The minimum requirement for Shell Scheme stands is 15 square metre.

Exhibitors wanting to design and build their own stand can buy bare floor space. It will cost them $350 (Dh1,285.6) per square metre. Power is charged separately, while the smallest allowed space only stand is 30 square metre.

Exhibitors receive an entry in the official catalogue, report on Middle East Hotel developments, sponsorship opportunities, invitation to the exhibitor party, publicity through the organiser's official exhibition PR programme, exhibitor manuals, as well as discounted travel and hotel accommodation.

The exhibits are transported through Freightworks, who will be responsible for shipments to the expo site.

The line-up of exhibitors features manufacturers and suppliers of air conditioning, audio visual, video conferencing and sound systems, bathroom supplies and bed linen, building materials, cutlery and crockery, carpeting and curtains. Besides these it also includes computer hardware and software, fitness, spa and pool equipment, buses, vans and limousines, landscaping services, management and reservations systems, telecommunications systems and uniforms.

Since its launch in 2000, the exhibition has become a major show both to manufacturers and suppliers of a huge range of products and services used by hotels, and to hotel owners, operators and developers.
