Hofex 2003, the 10th Asian International Exhibition of Hospitality Equipment, Supplies and Technology, Food and Drink, has been re-scheduled to run from July 15 to 18, 2003 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, instead of the previously published dates of May 9 to 6, 2003.
This decision was made in response to the current health concerns in Hong Kong and the Asian region, attributable to the pneumonia virus known as Sars (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), and following the numerous travel advisories from many governments, the WHO and the CDC. It is also taken after considerable consultation with both exhibitor and visitor groups together with the relevant industry and medical authorities in Hong Kong, said a statement.
