Sfeir … inspiring journeys

Over the past year and more, we have observed Ras Al Khaimah doing a commendable job in getting the word out there, on media networks in key markets across Europe and America, as well as traditional feeder markets in Asia. And now, the region’s fastest growing tourism destination has a new, premier excursion transport and destination management company (DMC) called Safarak. Offering a wide range of carefully crafted sightseeing tours, customized luxury journeys, airport transfer and shuttle services, domestic and international guests alike will now enjoy greater accessibility to the Emirate’s local culture and unique heritage.

There is great excitement around the forecast and numbers that are being discussed in the context of the emirate's tourism growth story. By 2025, the emirate aims to boost the number of visitors from 740,000 in 2015 to an incredible three million, with an annual growth rate of 28 per cent, and tourism revenue of Dh7.2 billion.

To support this ongoing growth and demand, Ras Al Khaimah’s visitors could do with more luxury DMCs like Safarak. Service providers who are diligent and love RAK, who dive deep into the destination, spend endless hours refining the offering to include carefully crafted sightseeing tours, luxury private excursions, airport transfer and shuttle services that best showcase the hidden gems of the rising star emirate.

'Our mission is to give guests an inspiring journey to destinations they will never forget, whether it’s between the airport and their resort, or between Ras Al Khaimah’s glistening beaches and the UAE’s tallest mountain-scape Jebel Jais,' said Ghada Sfeir, operations manager of RAK Hospitality Logistics.
