As the weather starts to warm up again in Bahrain, golfers are taking advantage of floodlit night golf at Riffa Golf Club. The opportunity to play golf during the cool of the evening, right up until midnight has proved popular throughout the year, and is set to further increase during the summer.
"The demand for rounds after dark has been consistently high since the launch of Night Golf in June last year," says Michael Braidwood, the club's general manager. "We did think things might become quieter in the evening during the winter months as we expected more people to take advantage of the nice daytime weather, but in fact our evenings were also busy. Various regular night golf groups and leagues have become established and most will hopefully continue throughout the summer months."
Riffa Golf Club will continue to offer its Night Golf Group deal throughout the summer as well as launching a new summer promotion aimed at encouraging golfers to continue playing during the day despite the warmer weather.
