Landry & Kling presented Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) 'Mice Cruise Line Partner of the Year' award. The cruise line's support for 62 days of ship charters including Rio 2016 Olympics marks a landmark achievement for Mice on the high seas.
TTN is aware that Miami-based Landry & Kling pioneered the corporate ship charter business, as Mice cruise specialists, Landry & Kling's track record since 1982 is unprecedented. No other company has chartered as many cruise ships, or used ship venues for such a wide variety of events. The company provides cruise ship solutions and custom cruise planning for ship buy-outs, incentive cruises, cruise meetings, music festivals, theme cruises and dockside ship charters for global events.
Middle East based travel planners may be inspired with some inside news on the success models. Here are the five charters of NCLH ships planned by Landry & Kling:
The luxurious Regent Seven Seas Mariner – chartered for a corporate-incentive program in Alaska for seven nights
Oceania's Riviera, an upper-premium ship – chartered for eight-nights which Landry & Kling creatively split into two corporate-incentive cruises of four-night each, sailing the Caribbean between Miami and San Juan
Contemporary Norwegian Getaway – chartered for 40-nights as a floating hotel, to provide supplemental housing during the 2016 Rio Olympics
The Norwegian Pearl – chartered for a four-night music festival 'buy-in' cruise to Jamaica for music fans
The Norwegian Escape – sourced and chartered for a three-night Bahamas cruise on behalf of HelmsBriscoe, Landry & Kling's strategic partner, whose corporate client requested a motivating incentive program for 4000+ attendees
Travel meeting and incentive trip planners will be aware that there are many advantages of organising events on the sea, with a movable venue one can design shore excursions in the event agenda. Purpose-built meeting and group event spaces within most modern ships make of an excellent setting and memories. TTN understands that cruise meetings may cost up to thirty per cent less when compared to similar events organised on shore.
