Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns and Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Oman for the Golden Tulip Khasab Hotel and Resort, Khasab, Oman.
The signing ceremony took place in Muscat.
The Golden Tulip Khasab Hotel and Resort is located in Khasab, in Musandam, known for its landscape marked by fjords, mountains and the beautiful sea, 40 minutes by plane from Muscat, and 170 kms from Dubai.
The property will have 60 rooms, suites and chalets, with luxurious facilities, including a bar, restaurant, state of the art conference and banquet facilities, health club, swimming pool, scuba diving centre and direct access to the beach.
The Golden Tulip Khasab Hotel and Resort is Golden Tulip's 16th property in the Middle East and Africa and is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2003.
