Following on from last year's successful opening and launch of the hotel's six premium penthouse suites, The Fairmont Dubai is once again targeting the GCC market this summer with its luxury suite product from spacious and elegant one-bedroom suites to the duplex Imperial suite.

With 128 suites in total, including the six penthouses, suite business is of major importance to the hotel, and was a key driver for Summer 2002 business. Following a recent revamp of room category definitions, six suite types are now available, with the added option of a paid upgrade to Fairmont Gold level available for those guests seeking a little extra during their stay.

The junior suite is a large open-plan room offering the best of both worlds with a cosy sitting room leading into the bedroom for a unique suite experience with style and practicality combined.

The one-bed suite is an elegant retreat from the outside world, our one-bedroom suites are both comfortable and functional, so your leisure time and business needs can be accommodated at the same time.

The two-bed suite is where luxury and space come together to present a well-designed living space that rivals any uptown city apartment. The stylish décor and convenient layout make this suite the ideal destination for both families and business guests.

Hotel-weary VIPs have a choice of three distinctly individual styles of penthouse accommodation combining the five-star glamour you would expect, with unique touches that vary from suite to suite giving each one its own character and ambience to make any guest feel good. Perched on the 34th floor of this property, these six exclusive suites exemplify contemporary cool mixed with Arabic classicism and a splash of colour, for the ultimate in luxury living.

As well as full Fairmont gold services a personal butler is also on hand around the clock to attend to every need. All the suites feature a 50-inch television set with full home theatre capabilities, working desk and full facilities for the business traveller.

The two two-bedroom presidential suites convey a genteel ambience with muted tones of grey and lavender giving a feminine edge to the 288 sq metres of living space. The entry hall opens up into an airy open-plan dining and living room separated by a stunning decorative glass panel reflecting the light from the floor to ceiling windows. A king-bedded master bedroom leads off to one side of the living room featuring an ensuite bathroom, and to the other side is situated a twin-bedded ensuite room. The suite also features a small kitchen with direct access to the outside corridor.

Leisure facilities at the hotel also provide food for thought, with Willow Stream, The Spa at Fairmont, offering a completely separate male and female hydrotherapy area with Jacuzzi, steam room, ice shower and footbaths, plus individual treatment rooms along with a fully-equipped gym and personal training service. Two outdoor sun decks add further appeal, each with hand-crafted mosaic lined pools located to catch both sunrise and sunset, while trained staff ensure that guests including children benefit from the surrounds with plenty of opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation.
