Gulf Air is well along the road to recovery and now the national carrier of the UAE, Bahrain and Oman is ensuring the journey continues in style and luxury for its guests travelling through Abu Dhabi International Airport.
A fleet of S-Type Jaguar saloon cars have been introduced by the airline, which will be used exclusively to transport First and Business class passengers from anywhere in the UAE to and from Abu Dhabi Airport.
The service hit the roads 0 coinciding with the airline's sponsorship of IDEX 2003 at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center.
"The drive time from Dubai or Al Ain to Abu Dhabi Airport is just an hour which makes the capital's airport the ideal gateway to the UAE," says Mahfood Al Harthy, general manager, UAE - Gulf Air.
"What better way to prepare for one of our fifteen non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi and London, Frankfurt or Paris each, than to travel in the luxurious comfort of the S-Type Jaguar. Do a bit of last minute paperwork, make a few phone calls or just sit back and enjoy the smooth ride! Get yourself in the mood for the next leg of your journey, where Gulf Air promises equally high levels of comfort and a luxury service unrivalled by other Arab carriers."
Al Harthy adds that Gulf Air intends to develop this service in the coming months into more than just a luxury transfer service.
"This is part of our on-going programme of going the extra mile for our guests and to enhance our premium products."
