The cabin crew of SWISS International Air Lines has been honoured for providing 'Excellent Onboard Passenger Service' on its Muscat route.
The Muscat award is an internal accolade presented each year to a service within SWISS' Omani operations that has been praised by passengers.
Ruedi Selz, country manager for SWISS in Oman, announced the award at a special presentation in Muscat recently and said: "I am particularly proud that our passengers rate the performance of our cabin crew very high. It is one of the most essential elements of our product and service delivery. A professional, caring, service-minded and friendly flight attendant influences the travel experience of every one of our passengers".
Colette Bastin, general manager of SWISS' Maitres de cabine, was delighted with the award and commented:" It is a great honour to accent the Muscat Award for excellent onboard services. Despite the difficulties in the Swiss aviation industry over the last year, I am very proud of our cabin crew, who today more than ever are providing such a high standard of service to our passengers".
"Our flight attendants and Maitres de Cabine are experts in many fields, whether gastronomy, languages, problem-solving, First Aid, technical understanding and above all safety awareness. This award is highly regarded by the cabin crew and the best form of motivation."
