Grand Hyatt Dubai opened its doors to the world in style last month.

After all the pre-launch hype the 674-room property, situated near the shores of Dubai's Creek in the City's Garhoud district, has attracted a lot of praise.

"We hope that Grand Hyatt Dubai will position itself as an integral meeting place for residents and guests who will take advantage of the hotel's many restaurants, landscaped gardens, pool area, spa and event facilities," stated Peter Fulton, General Manager of the hotel.

"Grand Hyatt Dubai comprises a luxury hotel resort, residential apartments and villas and what is described as the largest and most advanced hotel conferencing facility in the region. The hotel is set within lavishly landscaped gardens, which act as the perfect backdrop for the dramatic architecture.

"From the moment guests enter it is apparent that this is a very special hotel. A stunning indoor landscape in the hotel's atrium, with over 40,000 square feet of indoor garden, features a myriad of bridges crossing several streams.

"The 14 bars and restaurants at Grand Hyatt Dubai afford diners a choice of cuisines as diverse as it is authentic with Lebanese, American, Italian, Vietnamese, Singaporean and Japanese cuisines, created by indigenous chefs in each restaurant's own kitchen.

To compliment Indochine, the Vietnamese restaurant, The Tea House will offer guests a variety of oriental teas.

"With two stylish bars, Vinoteca and Cooz, Grand Hyatt Dubai offers an ideal venue for pre or post dinner drinks and with the hotel's futuristic nightclub complex, MIX, offering a dance floor, live music, late night dining and vibrant bars," said Fulton.
