Marinette Dorkhom Farwagi has been appointed director of sales and marketing at the Metropolitan Palace Hotel.
She graduated from Penn State University, in Pennsylvania, USA with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management.
She pre-opened the St Regis Sheraton in Manhattan, New York city in 1991 as a Sales Manager. Then, moved to the Ritz Carlton in New York in 1993.
Afterwards, she pre-opened in 1995 the Beirut Marriott as a director of sales for two years, and was then promoted to director of sales and marketing.
Walter Wouters has joined the Metropolitan Palace Hotel Beirut as director of operations.
He is a diploma holder from the Piva Hotel School, Antwerp, Belgium. He also has a degree in Economic Management from Cornell University, New York.
