Birgit Kutterer has been appointed as the new duty manager at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai. Birgit's educational background is testimony to her interest in the hospitality industry.
Born in Germany, she studied hotel management in her home country and made her apprenticeship at the Steigenberger Hotel in Berlin. Prior to joining the InterContinental Hotel Dubai, Birgit worked at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel as assistant manager front office for three years. Birgit has accumulated nearly seven years hotel industry knowledge.
In her free time, Birgit enjoys roller-blading and travelling.
Joerg Asshauer has been appointed as CEO Movenpick Group, effective April 9, 2003. Asshauer brings with him a rich business experience in the food (Nestle), gastronomy and service sectors (EUREST/Compass Group, Randstad).
As CEO of EUREST/Compass Germany he made a significant contribution in achieving market leadership. Furthermore, he prepared the integration of Selecta AG into the Compass Group from the Paris office.
