Gulf Air has launched its first network-wide Stopover Programme. The airline said the programme would offer specially priced accommodation in a variety of top hotels in all on-line destinations on the Gulf Air network.
Operated by Gulf Air Holidays, it also offers car hire and airport transfers by private car or coach. It is the latest in a long line of new initiatives from Gulf Air. While being of particular interest to the business market, the ease of booking and competitive prices are also expected to appeal to leisure and other passengers requiring accommodation, transfers and car hire. "Customers can choose from over 280 hotels and apartments throughout the Gulf Air network," said Gulf Air Holidays manager Jon Barnett. "Terms and conditions are very flexible and Falcon Frequent Flyer members can also earn and redeem Falcon Miles with the Gulf Air Stopover Programme."
