Rajeev Nambiar, Gulf Air's district sales manager in Doha, will take over as the area manager for Kenya and Uganda from February 17. He will be based in Nairobi.
Nambiar served KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Muscat, Dubai and Tehran before joining Gulf Air in 1999.
Gulf Air currently flies four times a week to Nairobi. The airline has three flights from Abu Dhabi and one from Bahrain. It is expected to add two more frequencies to Nairobi from this summer, said a spokesman for the airline.
