Gulf Air may begin daily operations to Kochi from June, press reports said.
The regional airline now has flights to another Kerala city, Thiruvananthapuram from Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Muscat. Gulf Air also flies daily to Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi in India. Gulf Air will be the fifth Gulf carrier to fly to Kochi. Qatar Airways has scheduled its first flight to Kochi in the first week of March. Saudi Arabian is also expected to begin flights within the next few weeks. Other carriers from the region flying to the city are Oman Air and Kuwait Airways.
