Opened by Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum on March 5, 1975, the InterContinental Dubai was the city's very first five star hotel. Since then, the hotel has made itself a mainstay of the emirate's business and social life.
This unique creek front property has hosted weddings, conferences and, through its ever-changing food and beverage offerings, entertained many thousands of Dubai residents and visitors.
Offering luxury and quality service is one of InterContinental Dubai's main objectives and one of the important elements which make the InterContinental a valuable choice is the warm hospitality and the first class standard service. The hotel has undergone some significant changes in 2002, having renovated the Cafe Boulevard with new name "Boulvar" and the opening of the new trendy restaurant, bar and club "Mystizo".
"We wanted to thank everybody who has supported us over the years, so our food and beverage team came up with a special birthday promotion" said General Manager of the hotel and Regional Vice President of Operations -UAE, Henri Blin.
Throughout the month of March, in each food & beverage outlet, the hotel will be doing a daily draw of diners' business cards. The winner on each day will get a complimentary dinner for two in the restaurant they last dined in.
So, if you want a piece of the InterContinental Dubai's birthday cake, you know what to do. And, while you're there, you might get the inside story on the three new outlets the hotel has planned for April this year.
