Gulf Hotel gets new staff

Gulf Hotel in Bahrain has appointed a restaurant manager at the Royal Thai Seafood. Khwanchanok Songsuwan is one of a team of 14 who were recruited from Thailand to guarantee genuine Thai service.

Khwanchanok Songsuwan known as Aom studied in Thailand and is a University graduate in Communication Arts.

After her graduation Aom worked in the Grammy Entertainment as a personal artist manager and two years later she opened her restaurant in Thailand. She grew up in a family who owned Thai restaurants and this has helped her gain experience and become familiar with the etiquette and service of a 5-star restaurant.

With her experience Aom decided to remain in the restaurant business since it has become a tradition in her family.

Jean Pierre Grosjean has recently joined the Gulf Hotel Bahrain, taking over the position of pastry chef.

Jean Pierre was born in Burgundi Beaube France and has studied Pastry in Troves. He brings with him 34 years of experience in this field.

Jean Pierre travelled the world as a Pastry Chef and joined 5-star hotels such as Meridien, Sheraton, Novotel etc throughout the United States. He then moved to Thailand, Egypt, Iraq, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka.

Gulf Hotel has also announced the appointment of Thai Chef Tawatchai Chuto as the chef of the Royal Thai Restaurant.

Tawatchai Chuto brings with him 25 years of experience in both Thai and international cuisine.

Since 1986 he has been traveling around the world from Beijing to Australia, from Germany to Malaysia and Japan. In 2000 Chef Chuto moved to Miami and just prior to moving to Gulf Hotel Bahrain he was the Thai Chef in Dusit Thai in Ireland.
