The SDHT is presently undergoing a SR 50 million extensive refurbishment programme according to General Manager Roger Tannous.
Sheraton took over the property is 1999 and Dammam Hotel company the owning company is planning to create a " stunning landmark" in Dammam.
The 285 rooms hotel will have a total of 92 tower rooms and suites with a stunning Tower Lounge on the top over looking the corniche and the city of Dammam, said Tannous.
The new facade will be ready by end of March while the rooms will be ready by November this year. The next phase will include the public areas, health club and restaurants. Plans are also in hand for an extension to the hotel.
