KLM Royal Dutch Airlines maintained an 80 per cent load factor on its flights out of Bahrain throughout 2002, it has been revealed.
The airline registered a four per cent growth in traffic in 2002 over 2001, said newly appointed sales manager Sanjay Kopalkar. Kopalkar revealed that the airline would introduce improved amenities on its new fleet of Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.. Kopalkar said an Arabic desk opened at Schiphol International Airport had proved popular with passengers from Bahrain and other Arab countries.
