Conrad Cairo was awarded the Green Hotels certificate for its excellent performance in the integration of the international environmental systems by HE Dr Mamdouh El Beltagui, Minister of Tourism and HE Dr Mamdouh Ryad, State Minister of Environmental Affairs and the UN Media Office in Cairo.
The hotel was appointed as 'Highly Recommended Environmental Friendly Hotel of the year in 2001' over the Middle East region, and was certified for the second consecutive year as a 'Green Globe Hotel'. Conrad Cairo is a luxury business hotel with 617 guestrooms, inclusive of 52 suites and five executive floors, and an array of restaurants and bars. It is located in the Cairo Commercial district overlooking the River Nile.
